BRAZILIAN FORESTRY WEEK CLOSES SCHEDULE OF TECHNICAL MEETINGS

During the Brazilian Forestry Week, of which Expoforest is part, two major technical meetings are scheduled for the 7th and 8th of August. The 5th Brazilian Forestry Meeting, the main stage for discussions on forestry in Brazil, is organized by Malinovski and Embrapa Florestas. And the 19th Wood Harvest and Transport Seminar, considered one of the oldest technical events in the forest sector worldwide.

The Brazilian Silviculture Meeting will address topics such as: challenges for forestry production, digital forestry, cases of innovation and technology and the direction of mechanization and labor shortages.

The Seminar on Harvesting and Transporting Wood, an event with 46 years of tradition in the Brazilian forest sector, will address the main trends, news and technologies on harvesting and transporting wood available in Brazil and in other countries that have the wood industry as a of the main economic activities.

Among nearly 50 speakers at the two events, leading experts from Brazil and abroad will share knowledge with professionals interested in updating and high-level networking.

Between the 7th and 11th of August, the forestry world gathered in the region of Ribeirão Preto. The highlight was
