WHO ARE

Expoforest ambassadors are people with a forest identity. They are personalities who work in the planted forest sector or, in some way, have already left their mark in this exciting segment. They were handpicked to also represent OUR fair in the most diverse scenarios.

AMANDANODARI

With a degree in Forestry Engineering from UFPR and an MBA in Project Management from FGV, Amanda Nodari works as a specialist in Competitiveness and Innovation at DEXCO. The focus of his work is on managing and implementing digital transformation and forest 4.0 projects, new businesses and bringing the forest area closer to the startup ecosystem.
He dedicated himself for more than five years to the forestry operations of two giants in the pulp industry: Fibria and Eldorado Brasil. Passionate about the sector, her main drivers are protagonism, creativity and enthusiasm.
In 2020, he created the account @minutoflorestal, to encourage newly graduated women to enter the sector and lead their careers.

ANTONIOCÔRTES

Antonio Côrtes is a civil engineer, with a post-graduate degree in business management and founding partner of Côrtes Engenharia Agroindustrial, a company that operates in the development of architectural projects and technical assistance for the construction of buildings. It has works in more than 60 farms and seven states, in the main Brazilian agricultural regions.
A great supporter of the forestry sector, he believes in the use of wood from cultivated trees as a constructive solution in different systems. Worked with the development team for the feasibility study of the Euca Energy project, BHKP pulp industry, which will be implemented in Alto Araguaia/MT.
Côrtes is also a speaker and, believing in the power of communication, he became a member of Agro em Dia, a podcast that shows how agribusiness works in practice. He also shares content from the agro world on his YouTube channel: “Engenharia do Agro”, Tik Tok and instagram.

AQUILES “SKILLO”JUNIO

Aquiles Junio, better known as Skillo, is a graphic designer, videomaker and DJ for over 10 years. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by the beauty and complexity of nature. Born in Capelinha, a small town in the interior of Minas Gerais, it was where he learned to admire the nuances of natural resources, flora and fauna.
As a photographer and filmmaker, he had developed contact with the forest in audiovisual captures. “My work has taken me exploring forests across my region and witnessing the natural beauty of the countryside,” he says. “Since I was a child, I have always had a passion for capturing the landscapes and life around me with my camera.”
Skillo uses his work and art as a way to protect forests and biodiversity, inspiring change and raising awareness of the importance of caring for the environment.

JUNIORHAAS

Junior Haas is a national forestry enthusiast. He was born in Sinop/MT and since he was a child he has been in contact with activities related to wood. He grew up inside a sawmill and has always lived in the middle of the forest base sector.
Our ambassador is trained as a maintenance mechanic by SENAI, a production engineer by UNISC and has an MBA in Business Management by FGV. It works to make a better world with the help of planted forests.
He is currently the third generation at the head of Haas Madeiras, a company from Rio Grande do Sul that develops, produces and disseminates products from planted eucalyptus forests.

MARIANA SCHUCHOVSKI

PhD in Forest Sciences from UFPR and NCState (USA), with more than 20 years of national and international experience in Sustainability.
She is the founder of Verde Floresta, a sustainability consulting and training company for companies of different sizes and sectors.
Guest professor at FGV, FIA, UFPR, UFSCar, ISAE and others.
President and co-founder of the Forest Woman Network.
Member of the Advisory Board of the Amcham Brasil Sustainability Committee.
Its mission is to make sustainability uncomplicated.

NELSON BARBOZA LEITE

Nelson Barboza Leite is an agronomist and forester, graduated in 1970. He has worked with research in private and public service companies. He was president of SBS – Brazilian Society of Silviculture.
Currently, it provides technical support to companies that provide operational services. Coordinates the Silviculture Community, a group of professionals that discusses issues related to the Brazilian forestry sector.

PATRICK QUEIROZ

Patrick de Queiroz, married to Fernanda, father of Nicollas and Théo, started working as a forest harvesting machine mechanic 10 years ago.
In the profession, he developed a love for the area, went through several processes and evolved. Currently, as a supervisor, he adds value to the maintenance process, investing in people, forming incredible high-performance teams to deliver constant results and provide a pleasant work environment.
Among his passions, he developed the practice of photography and is known for the beautiful images produced in the forestry sector.

PAULO CARDOSO

Since 2007, he has been working in communication for the forestry sector with the creation of the Forestry Panel. Today, with Paulo Cardoso Comunicações, he is the creator and director of the Mais Floresta website and online events: Florestas Online, No Fire Brasil, My Wood Home and Florestas Em Debate. As well as the video production company Bit Vídeo and the courses companies Forest Class and AgriClass.100

PEDRO FRANCIO

Pedro Francio Filho is an agronomist, forest consultant, specialist in High Forest Productivity and High Performance Integrated Systems, with a focus on the multiple use of wood.
It operates throughout the production, planning, implementation, conduction, management, thinning, harvesting, administration and decision-making process in forestry and agricultural companies. Its forestry consulting and advisory services have already worked with farms, investor groups, foresters and companies in most Brazilian states. He also has works developed in Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and countries in Africa.
Our ambassador also gives lectures and courses on Integrated Agrosilvipastoral Production Systems (ILPF), Applied Silviculture, Sustainability in Agribusiness, Forest Soils and High Technology in Forest Production. It presents the scenario and opportunities of the Brazilian agroforestry sector in Latin American and European countries.

PRISCILA BONADIMAN

Priscila Bonadiman is a publicist in Vitória/ES. Passionate about marketing, she joined the INFLOR family three years ago and is very proud to be part of it. In social networks, in addition to the professional side, he loves to share his busy life and everything he does.
“I believe in the forest sector. It’s huge and incredible. I’m sure we’re going to do a different Expoforest together”, she comments.

RONALD VERA

Ronald Javier Vera is an agronomist and lives in the city of Posadas, Misiones, Argentina. He has worked in the wood industry since 1992 and since 2003 as a consultant, trainer and representative of machinery and equipment for the sector. A professor at UNNE’s Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Corrientes is a member of the consulting team for the Argentine logging chambers Apicofom, Amayadap and APEFIC.
Lecturer with participation in congresses, technical conferences and dissertations inside and outside Argentina, today he acts as leader and manager of several industrial projects in the area of ​​sawmills, steam plants, wood drying and sharpening lines. Active defender of the industrial productive sector, with a focus on social and environmental responsibility in each project it carries out.
For three uninterrupted decades, it has achieved great achievements, ranging from sawmills installed from Tierra del Fuego, in southern Patagonia, to Oran, in Salta, in the north of the country; and from San Pedro de Jujuy west against the Andes Mountains and to the easternmost point of Argentina.
