In 2018, the fourth edition of Expoforest had a special attraction: the 1st Forwarder Operators Championship. Large companies in the forest-based sector nominated their best operators for a skill and speed competition. There were 10 participants from companies such as: Sylvamo, Dexco, Eldorado, Suzano and Klabin.

Rodrigo Lemes da Silva, from Klabin, was the big winner of that edition. And now in 2023, who will be the best forwarder operator in Brazil? Competition

The competition seeks to promote integration between companies in the forestry sector and educational institutions and interactively encourage operators to seek training and qualification for their operational practices. In addition, the championship still has the intention of providing integration and exchange of experiences between participants and forestry companies.

Goal

In the competition, agility and precision activities are carried out with the forwarder, which is a forestry vehicle that transports large logs felled from the stump for unloading on the side of the road. The winner is the one who performs all actions in the shortest time, observing the quality and safety of the operation. The evaluation of the activities developed will be carried out by a specialized Technical Commission.

Limited vacancies!

There are only 24 vacancies, exclusive for operators linked to forest-based companies! Competitors will have machines from brands (Tigercat, Ponsse, Komatsu and John Deere) at their disposal to face a test that requires skill, precision and speed, however, they will not be able to choose their equipment!
This moment will promote integration between companies in the forestry sector and forwarder operators, stimulating the improvement of operators’ practices and the exchange of experiences.
