Oregon Tool, world leader in the production of chains and bars for forestry activities, will be present at Expoforest 2023, the largest forestry fair in Latin America. This year the fair, which is in its 5th edition, will take place from the 9th to the 11th of August in Guatapará, within a Sylvamo eucalyptus forest, in the state of São Paulo.

This is the third time that Oregon Tool participates in the fair, which brings together the main players in the forest sector, national and international, and will present its complete line of equipment and technologies developed for cutting sets for harvesters, forest line, field, garden and electrical equipment.

One of the novelties that will be in this edition is the SpeedMax XL line from Oregon Tool, which has a forestry harvester cutting set complete with chain, bars and crown. The chains in this set have a 4% higher side plate height, allowing the wood chips to come off easily and the chain to slide more fluidly and quickly across the surface of the wood, resulting in higher production. The design of the cutter was also analyzed, with the straighter teeth angle allowing for a more aggressive and faster cut in the log.
