Toyama has been in the national market for more than two decades, offering the best solutions in the power and energy segment. Today, present on five continents, the brand is registered in more than 150 countries around the world and operates strongly with stationary engines and a varied mix of products.
A complete portfolio offers the market more than 450 models of equipment from the lines of engines, generators, big generators, civil construction, marine, agricultural, forestry and garden. In addition to the machines, there is also a varied mix of original accessories and spare parts.
Currently, wood production is an activity that has gained prominence and contributed to rural development. The use of land to grow trees for the sale of wood can be a source of income for small producers, and wood production can be integrated into family farming, increasing income, generating jobs, developing local trade and attracting investment and partnerships.
Planted forests contribute to the conservation of the environment, improvement of soil quality and protection of water resources. And for that, the chainsaw plays a key role in wood production, being essential equipment for cutting trees and processing wood.
The versatility and efficiency of the equipment allow different stages of the process to be carried out, which vary depending on the type of operation and the desired products. Toyama works with a complete line of chainsaws, sabers, lubricants, chains and accessories specially developed to serve this segment.
Generator sets, stationary engines, lighting towers and motor pumps are also frequently used machinery on farms or forest camps.
Toyama offers forest-to-garden solutions to increase labor productivity. At Expoforest, the company will be at STAND F14, where visitors will be able to check out the main innovations and solutions for the market.
Canopy, a leading company in remote sensing solutions for the forest sector, will be at Expoforest 2023. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Florianópolis, SC, the company has been standing out in the market with solutions that represent the state of the art in mapping, inventory and forest monitoring.
At Expoforest, Canopy will present the Canopy Insight platform: an innovative solution that offers highly accurate information on planted area, gender, age and productivity for each forest block planted in the national territory. In addition to serving as a sector reference, with the survey numbers being adopted by Ibá, the platform is widely used for wood prospecting work by companies in the pulp and paper, steel and charcoal, bioenergy, among others.
According to Bruno Montibeller, director of operations at Canopy, the company is constantly improving solutions. An example of this is the introduction of new features on the Canopy Insight platform, with the aim of making wood prospecting even more efficient. “Soon, modules will be launched for monthly monitoring of the harvest and socio-environmental analysis of plantations. In addition, Canopy has future plans to transform the platform into a marketplace that will more quickly and directly connect wood buyers and producers.” By the end of the year, the company will also offer data from planted forests in Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina , with the international expansion of the platform.
Canopy’s participation in Expoforest 2023 reinforces the company’s commitment to boosting the Brazilian forest sector through innovation and the intelligent use of geotechnologies. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience first-hand the highly accurate forest inventory solution based on LiDAR data (Canopy 3D) and the new solutions offered by the company for the carbon market (Canopy Carbon and Canopy Change).
