One of the reasons why Expoforest is held in the region of Ribeirão Preto, besides to an area of eucalyptus planted forests by Sylvamo, is because of the city’s infrastructure. Ribeirão Preto has more than 700,000 inhabitants and often receives important events from the most diverse segments. It has a tradition in business tourism, with the availability of service providers and a diversified hotel network. The 2018 edition of Expoforest received more than 30,000 visitors from 32 countries. Many chose to stay in Ribeirão Preto, about 40kilometers from the fair site. For the 2023 edition, about 40,000 visitors are expected, as well as hundreds of exhibitors and service providers.

Throughout the year, the hotel chain of Ribeirão Preto has an average occupancy of 70%. In major events it is common to beat the 100% occupancy.

Thinking about the well-being of visitors, the organization frozen some reservations in the main hotels, ensuring options for the fair’s participants.
