The Consulate General of Canada in Brazil, Export Development Canada and the Quebec Office in Brazil confirmed the arrival of a mission of Canadian companies to Expoforest 2023.

In all, representatives of twelve companies from that country will visit the Brazilian Forestry Fair, to get to know the Brazilian forestry market, and see up close the world launches of the sector.

The mission’s agenda also includes a series of visits and meetings with major players in the forest sector, in addition to participation in Expoforest. The objective is also to bring information to the Brazilian market about Canadian technologies and expertise in the forestry sector.

The mission’s trade commissioner, Paulo Barnewitz Orlandi, comments that the expectation is to deepen the partnerships already sealed and expand trade relations between Brazil and Canada.
