We bring decades of experience to the important forest industry, enabling consumers and OEMs across South America to work hard and go further with our tires in all conditions. We know how challenging the terrain can be, especially in the important forestry business of eucalyptus, paper, cellulose and charcoal. Our tires have been developed to provide greater productivity, efficiency and operator comfort and, with the new T418 High Power, to meet the demands of loggers around the world.”

Trelleborg consultants are present at booth #F15 to present industry professionals with the best tire solutions for forestry applications, including the T410 Agroforest tire, designed to provide optimum performance in both agricultural and forestry applications, and the Twin line Forestry T480, the track solution with cross grooves and a wide flat profile for unrivaled grip but less impact on the forest floor.

In addition, at booth #F15, dedicated talks are held with Trelleborg forestry tire experts on the best use and maintenance of Trelleborg tires, pointing out to all partners and customers on site how to increase productivity and efficiency during their operations.

Specially developed for hauling logs, with unparalleled resistance to cuts and tears, the T418 High Power tire has armored plies and a steel belt that protect the casing against stumps, boulders and stones for longer tire life in the most severe operating conditions. The improved design product is available in sizes 35.5L-32TL with 30-ply rating and 30.5L-32TL with 32-ply rating.

Unidas, one of the largest rental companies in the country, will be present at Expoforest 2023. During the event, Unidas will present the complete line of vehicles that meets all the demands of the segment, such as trucks, implements for transporting wood, harvesters for cutting, hydraulic excavators with grapple for loading, bulldozers, motor graders and other equipment for road maintenance.

Unidas will also present a portfolio of services that help simplify the day-to-day operations of customers. For this, the company has complete solutions for companies of all sizes, such as integration of outsourcing services for light and heavy fleets, hiring specialized drivers, maintenance of equipment and vehicles, telemetry for fleet monitoring, among others, which are capable of serving the forest sector and other segments of agribusiness.

“We want to show all of Unidas’ differentials to the sector. We have a strong presence and expertise in the forestry sector, leasing machinery and equipment, and providing complete solutions for our customers. Companies already understand that leasing brings more advantages than buying, as it does not devalue the asset, and involves less bureaucracy, such as concerns with documentation and insurance”, highlights Marluz Cariani, Unidas commercial director.

In the portfolio of vehicles, equipment and machinery, the company covers all cycles of planted forests, such as harvesting and forwarding machines, tractors, manipulators, adapted yellow line, support trucks, tractors, forest implements, bit-train and tri-train. The solutions can be used from planting to harvesting, from loading to transport.

Unidas also has the support of a team of highly technical professionals, with personalized service to provide efficiency and productivity in operations. One of the benefits of customization is financial security, since contracting Unidas services enables a budget forecast of expenses with each product.

“This results in the reduction of operating costs, lower use of bank credit limits for the acquisition of own fleets and, consequently, providing an increase in the company’s liquidity index”, highlights Marluz.

Visitors to the Unidas stand will also be able to participate in activities and take pictures with Zé Roberto, a former player for the Brazilian national team, who will be present on August 9th.

Hyva do Brasil is present at Expoforest with the mobile floor model CF500 SL-C, widely used in biomass transport operations, both in road and stationary applications.

The Commercial Coordinator of Hyva do Brasil’s Hydraulics unit, Michel Schröder, points out that “after 5 years, it is a pleasure to participate in yet another edition of Expoforest, a time to meet many friends in one place”. For the edition of the event, Schröder points out that “we brought our CF500 SL-C model, the mobile floor most used in biomass transport operations, both in road and stationary applications.” To demonstrate how this floor works, a stationary hydraulic unit model will be on display at the stand, with the capacity to move the floor for the most varied needs, even allowing you to regulate the speed of loading and unloading.

For the correct movement of a mobile floor in road applications, Schröder points out the need for a hydraulic kit suitable for the operation. In this sense, Hyva, as a solution provider, offers the market a complete solution for this segment, that is, power take-off, hydraulic kit and mobile floor. Thus, it also brings to Expoforest its two models of hydraulic kits most used in installations on tractor trucks. It is worth mentioning that these hydraulic kits are a critical item for the good performance and functioning of the mobile floors.

According to the company, Hyva mobile flooring has been the absolute leader in the segment since its launch in 2003. The event will be an opportunity to meet friends, celebrate and thank customers, partners and suppliers for the 4,000 mobile flooring sold in Brazil. The Coordinator of Hyva do Brasil also points out that: “It is an extremely important milestone for us, which demonstrates our customers’ confidence in our products, as well as motivates us even more to serve them better.”

Innovative horizontal loading and unloading system, the mobile floor is based on the natural laws of friction and does not require a tipping mechanism, providing speed and flexibility for unloading in any location for varied applications such as biomass in general, sugarcane bagasse, chopped sugarcane, chaff , charcoal, peanuts, corn, cotton seed, rubber, urban waste, pallets, among others.

Corteva Agriscience, through Linha Floresta, will highlight the strength of its portfolio for weed management from pre to post-planting during Expoforest 2023.

“Expoforest is the first dynamic forest fair in Latin America and the largest in the world, and Corteva will give practical field demonstrations of its solutions for weed management in cultivated forests. Our portfolio offers the forester the opportunity to reduce the number of field interventions to combat weeds in a single application. Another innovation is in our post-emergence products, which are the only ones on the market with specific registration to control eucalyptus sprouting and with approval for aerial application. We work with research and development to bring the best innovations to the sector”, comments Rodrigo Takegawa, Marketing Leader of the Corteva Agriscience Forest Line for Brazil and Paraguay.

Linha Floresta’s solutions are made up of high-performance herbicides, indicated for all stages of cultivated forest management, from pre-planting to post-planting. As the only company in the industry with a complete portfolio, our innovations efficiently keep areas clear of unwanted vegetation, maximizing production. At Expoforest, Corteva will show in practice, in field areas with a team of specialists and partners, the performance of Outliner®, a systemic herbicide developed for the post-emergent control of broadleaf weeds, such as eucalyptus. The product is indicated for the maintenance of the forest between the lines, from the first year of development to the most advanced stages.

In day-to-day silviculture, producers can also count on Sector®, a post-emergent herbicide to control broadleaves in forest reform with efficiency against regrowth. The product focuses on broadleaf weeds in the understory and acts in maintenance or pre-harvest, in addition to being able to be used to control eucalyptus sprouting in the post-harvest.

Outliner® and Sector® recently had their leaflet expanded for the cultivation of Pinus and registration for aerial application. In addition to herbicides, Corteva offers specialized advisory service in the field and the Responsible Application Program (PAR), from the company’s Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) area, to promote safe, productive, responsible and sustainable cultivation.

During the 5th edition of Expoforest, CantuPneus, the B2B and B2Fleet segment of CantuStore, will launch the SpeedMax FF X1 tire, the new line for forest use by its own brand SpeedMax. The company will occupy Stand 20 with other SpeedMax products, including the premium line, and an exclusive partnership with the manufacturer Maxam.

“The planted forests in Brazil are the most productive in the world and one of our commitments as CantuPneus, in B2B and B2Fleet, is to open paths for people and businesses. That’s why we introduced the SpeedMax FF X1 to the market, a forestry tire with high flotation, with a large contact area and low ground pressure rate, providing less damage to the soil and seedlings, something essential in this line of work”, explains Juliano Silva , commercial director of CantuStore.

The SpeedMax FF X1 will be available in dimensions 710/45-26.5 and 750/55-26.5. The tire has angled tread bars that provide good self-cleaning action, excellent traction and skid-proof sliding. The casing with special steel belt protection offers better puncture resistance, while the deep design and tread composition make the tire cut-resistant and extend its lifespan – essentials for use in rough terrain such as forests.

CantuPneus will also have tires and the presence of the dedicated service team that the group has for agribusiness. Another outstanding item will be the SpeedMax Prime line, aimed at transporting cargo and traffic over uneven terrain, with highly resistant tires against impact, cuts and perforations, making them a high quality and cost-effective solution.

“Both in the Agro and the SpeedMax load line, they are complementary to forest operations, mainly in the flow of agroforestry production. Our specialists, in addition to providing commercial assistance, will also share storage and conservation tips to increase the useful life of the tires, reducing interruptions in such an agile field of work”, concluded Juliano Silva.
