Corteva Agriscience, through Linha Floresta, will highlight the strength of its portfolio for weed management from pre to post-planting during Expoforest 2023.

Linha Floresta’s solutions are made up of high-performance herbicides, indicated for all stages of cultivated forest management, from pre-planting to post-planting. At Expoforest, Corteva will show in practice, in field areas with a team of specialists and partners, the performance of Outliner®, a systemic herbicide developed for the post-emergent control of broadleaf weeds, such as eucalyptus. The product is indicated for the maintenance of the forest between the lines, from the first year of development to the most advanced stages.

In day-to-day silviculture, producers can also count on Sector®, a post-emergent herbicide to control broadleaves in forest reform with efficiency against regrowth. The product focuses on broadleaf weeds in the understory and acts in maintenance or pre-harvest, in addition to being able to be used to control eucalyptus sprouting in the post-harvest.

Outliner® and Sector® recently had their leaflet expanded for the cultivation of Pinus and registration for aerial application. In addition to herbicides, Corteva offers specialized advisory service in the field and the Responsible Application Program (PAR), from the company’s Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) area, to promote safe, productive, responsible and sustainable cultivation.
